It's my birthday and I'll wear a sweater if I want to!
Even if it's still 100 degrees.
At least long enough for a photograph.
Steve knit my birthday sweater using his very own Bipolar Peaks and Valleys stitch pattern. The light blue yarn is worsted weight Aeval (silk and merino) and fingering weight Fey (merino), both from Spritely Goods.

He made it up. He's a genius.
And yes, it may be hard to believe, but those are PANTS I am wearing. They are even jeans. But not blue. I have to draw the line somewhere.

We've all been busy here at LusciousGracious. Lily and Steve have been making creatures. Lil created this one out of a sock and her hand-made pom-pon maker. Steve's robot lights up and has a removable brain, of course.

And Lucy Jane now creates fashion worthy of high school.

She pimped out this shirt to wear to her first Arcadia High football game and dance.

My new wristband is a sparkley felted swatch of Gedifra "Samina". Thanks, Steve! My favorite colors!
Today is not only the day I turn 37 (I thought I was 38! Gained a year...whooo-hoo!). It also marks the 20th anniversary of the day Stephen and I started dating. Twenty years. Now that's something! It would be harder to believe if I didn't see how quickly these children keep growing!

Thanks for another great year, you guys.

Now, if only someone would bring cool weather this way. I'd like to actually wear some of my nice sweaters!
